Our Pastor
Our pastor, Jim Lancaster with his wife, Susie, served for several years at Calvary Chapel S/W Metro (CCSWM) in Burleson, TX. Later, they were sent to serve in the mission field on behalf of CCSWM. He subsequently became the assistant pastor for CCSWM in 2009. In May 2011, the Lancaster Family moved to the Austin Region following the Lord's calling and served alongside Calvary Austin. While there, Jim was instrumental in starting a jail ministry that our CCEM Body still partners with.
Jim finds it more fascinating telling others about Jesus, than about himself. He believes that Jesus Christ changes lives and can take people places beyond their greatest hopes and loftiest imaginations.
In Jim's words, "God loves you and has great aims for your life. You are so important that Jesus was willing to lay down His life on the cross as a sacrifice for you. He arose on the 3rd day, just to prove what He will do for those who receive Him." Scripture says, "Whoever calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)"
So, ... "Come and see!"
